We worked on the creation of Buccia for the Italian brand Il Cucchiaio d’Argento. Buccia is their first character dedicated to children, she’s an heart-shaped apple!
The formats – Instagram will be the platform that will bring the character to life, including through 7 interactive formats. In fact, 60 Instagram stories will take care of entertaining and educating the little ones, with the complicity of their parents, encouraging them to test themselves in the kitchen with games and content capable of inspiring even the older ones. The challenge of the project is precisely that of entertaining like a television program and bringing parents and children back to spending more time together in the kitchen.
Cooking with children is not only a very important activity for bringing them closer and getting to know each other, but it is mainly an activity that develops many skills, from logical to manual ones. Learning cooking times is a good opportunity to put your math skills to good use.
Cooking is an opportunity to talk about food, healthy food choices and plan balanced meals. You can also improve communication skills while cooking by talking about favorite foods, memories around meals, and how all the recipe steps contribute to the finished recipe.
Meal preparation can increase a child’s appreciation for the food being served, knowing all the hard work that goes into making it.
A confidence boost! Seeing the finished product and seeing family members enjoy the meal they prepared are all great confidence boosters for your child.

A content to communicate about the path of ecology and sustainability, based on two parts: THEME (informative part) and SOLUTION (awareness), all in a language that will be understandable and interesting for children.
Pink Salt idea was to make information as fluid as possible and raise curiosity about the information. The topics that will be covered are most likely unknown yet for the target audience, who will be amazed and intrigued to discover more.
The content will be always supported with attached link for the article to provide clear and complete overlies of the topic. The structure and graphic design remind of a newspaper, which unconsciously invites a viewer to read and give an authority to the content at the same time. The project can be imagine as layout of a virtual newspaper dedicated to younger audience.

Over the years he has been working on illustrations, branding, games, apps, videos, mobile stickers and installations for an amazing range of clients, from Mtv, Nike and Disney to JibJab, Line, Redbull, Vans amongst others. Currently Mauro works as a Creative Director of WhatsApp Global.
