On their internal corporate App Mine, Moncler shares contents which explain how various products are made (the down jacket, eyewear etc.). They would like to replace them with new clips made for their specific products, a sort of Emotapes. In every Emotape we’ll see the production process in the factory shooting in the different factories, and still life of the product. The challenge was to create clips that give Moncler’s client advisors information about the product with a basis of emotional storytelling, which in turn can transmit to the customer at the moment of sale. The objective is to give more info on products, with cool stories to tell in new engaging formats, with educational insights about materials and constructions.
We produced aesthetic footage from each of our Emotapes, with close ups and shots that transition smoothy between each other, but still elevated the high quality look of the official shots. We connected with movement each process to create a link between each other, using frame within frame aesthetic to mix stock footage and close ups of production process. a focus on hand interactions created human connection between machinery and the end product.
In order to communicate all of the brand values, we used a strong visual approach mixing documentary style with more cinematic sequences, and the results are an exciting and emotion driven narration of the whole project.
