Walk Your Tuna

The Brief

To design a moment of entertainment and play that involves and entertains in an easy, immediate and social way. Therefor to developed an interactive Augmented Reality video game, suitable for Facebook and Instagram technology. To work on a concept of four characters (The Versailles cat, the movie star, the DJ and the eccentric grandma are characters imagined by Felloni, inspired by his actors from the Hotel Vivier press presentations) stroll through Paris with their dog Tuna – a great friend of the brand.
To generate very fast, dynamic and fun video to fit the 15” limit of Instagram Stories with main reference of animations, transitions and general pace taken from Anime and Cult movies presentations.

The Idea

Fancy taking a stroll along the streets of Paris? Let Roger Vivier take you there with our latest filter game, “Walk Your Tuna”. Imagined by Creative Director Gherardo Felloni, produced by Pink Salt and designed by Kim YoungOh, this new filter will bring you closer to the steps of the Eiffel Tower, the pyramid of the Louvre and the monuments of Place de la Concorde. This virtual, fantasy world full of color and eclectic characters will take you through a leisurely promenade filled with fun challenges.

The game features our favourite canine companion, Tuna, and four original Vivier figures to choose from.
The characters were drawn by Korean artist and illustrator Kim Yongoh who is known for his pop culture style, using vivid colors and lines to interpret reality.
Pick your persona and take a selfie to use your head shot as the character’s face, then off you go to take Tuna for a walk along the city’s most famous landmarks.
Use facial movements, like blinking, to move your character forward or jump. Try to go as far as possible while getting around roadblocks along the way and taking care of Tuna by feeding him all his favourite food.

Kim YongOh

Kim YongOh is Korean illustrator & artist. His work is based on the reinterpretation of many people and stories that exist in reality through a variety of colours and lines that creates a fantasy. Inspired by the traveling of his personal experience, he represents in pop culture style places to fence the features of lifestyle. Variety of landscape’s characteristics viewed as a base for space travel encountered splits his time between city and nature and situation changes according to the emotions.
