Gherardo Felloni, Roger Vivier’s Creative Director, has created a Best Wish card, the point of inspiration from where Pink Salt has started this project. The objective was to produce 3 bright and playful illustrations with micro-animations / gifs featuring Roger Vivier branding & music to be sent out together with the Best Wishes card for the Holidays Season.
The animations were for: one for Xmas celebration, one for Xmas vacation/season and one for New year’s eve.
3 posts as a 3-part story. Roger Vivier’s mascot lives festive and winter moments in a chic «art deco» setting. This mascot, Viviane, is a cat in various sapphire blues. Her coat made of meticulously cut-out scales stands out against the pink and gold decorations surrounding her.
Viviane is made of paper and assembled entirely by hand. Her 3 doe-like eyes and scales make this cat the most extraordinary cat of the Holiday season. It is important for Viviane to be surrounded by sumptuous decors. The art deco style blends perfectly with the paper art and contrasts with the scales.
The concept has been developed where the scenes are animated in stop-motion.
After a few close-up shots of details of the decors, stop motion sequences take us to the final scene. To celebrate Christmas, seasons and New Year’s Eve, Viviane lives different adventures with the Orangerie tree.
